The Role

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading MEP contractor establishing its engineering office in Damascus. As Electrical BIM Coordinator, you'll lead the electrical BIM effort across multi-discipline MEP projects — running a team of modelers, driving clash resolution, managing consultant submissions, and making sure electrical models meet contractual LOD, quality and programme.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage the electrical BIM team; assign work, review output, and own the discipline's deliverables across all phases.
• Develop and implement the electrical BIM execution plan in line with the project BEP and EIR.
• Chair multi-discipline coordination meetings and drive clash resolution to closure via Navisworks.
• Oversee the preparation, review and submission of all electrical shop drawings, and approve them before consultant submission.
• Manage the drawing register, revision control and RFI logs, and report on model health and progress.
• Enforce BIM standards, mentor junior modelers, and ensure IFC / COBie / as-built handover requirements are met.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years in electrical BIM, including 4+ in a coordination or supervisory role within an MEP contracting environment.
• Experience managing BIM teams of 3+ modelers on concurrent projects.
• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Expert Revit MEP (worksharing, BIM 360 / ACC); advanced Navisworks; proficient AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of ISO 19650 information-management standards.
• Professional working English and fluent Arabic.
• Based in Damascus and able to work on-site at the engineering office.

Nice to Have

• GCC project experience on AED 50M+ projects; familiarity with DEWA, DCD, SEC, Kahramaa or equivalent.
• BIM certification (BRE, Autodesk ACE).
• Direct MEP subcontractor background.
